The Property

Lansdown Place sits in the heart of Cheltenham, one of England’s most elegant Regency towns and home to one of the most prestigious events in the racing calendar. When mySTAYINN identified the opportunity here, the property was completely unfurnished. There was no furniture, no styling, no listings and no guests. Just a building with potential.

The Approach

This was mySTAYINN’s first project in Cheltenham and we approached it the way we approach every property we manage – properly and without shortcuts. mySTAYINN leased the property and took on the entire fit-out, with our local expert Carol Comparin-Pérold personally overseeing the design and furnishing of all nine properties.

Every room across the eight apartments and one cottage was styled from scratch, creating spaces that are comfortable, well-presented and genuinely enjoyable to stay in.

The timeline was tight. The goal was to have every property listed and ready to welcome guests in time for Cheltenham Festival week – one of the most in-demand periods in the town’s calendar, when the town fills with visitors from across the country.

The Result

The listings went live on a Saturday. By the time the first guests arrived the following week, every single property was fully booked.

Getting nine properties to that point, designed, furnished, photographed, listed and optimised, within a single project timeline takes experience, local knowledge and a team that knows what it is doing. That is what Carol and the mySTAYINN team delivered.
